A mekteb usually runs from September to June. Your levels, rooms and courses stay from year to year. Groups, class times and the children's places belong to one school year.
Create a school year
- Open Mekteb plan and tap All years.
- Tap New school year.
- Enter a name, for example "2026/27".
- Set the Start date and the End date.
- Tap Create.
If you have no school year yet, Mekteb plan shows a New school year button that does the same.
Change the dates
Open the year from All years, tap Edit, change the dates and tap Save. Class times need a start and an end date.
Which year is current
Mektebi opens on the current school year. To change it, open All years, open the menu Actions next to the year you want and choose Make current.
Start the next year
At the end of the year, open All years, open Actions next to the current year and choose Start next year. Mektebi guides you through it and keeps your levels, rooms and courses.
