# Approve a family and place the child

A family that registered waits for you. Approve the parent, then place each child on a level and course.

## Approve the family

1. On the dashboard, open the family under **Needs you**. Or open **Parents** and look for **Pending review**.
2. Check the parent's details and children.
3. Tap **Approve** to approve the parent.
4. Next to each child, tap **Place & approve**.
5. Choose the **Level** and the **Courses** the child joins.
6. Tap **Place & approve** again to confirm.

If a registration is not for your mekteb, tap **Decline**. You can add a reason.

## Give the child a group

An approved child has a level but no group yet. Open **Mekteb plan** and tap **Place** to put the child in a group. See [Groups and class times](/help/groups-and-class-times).
